Can't We All Just Get Along?

You've seen it in the grocery stores, or sometimes unfortunately in your own home.  Two kids that inevitably can keep from picking at each other, arguing with each other, or getting the last word in.  Now, we get to see what happens when those kids are grown men and they are gazillionairess.

The media chess match continued early this morning with Jim Irsay's latest tweet:

"Peyton has not passed our physical nor has he been cleared to play for The Indianapolis Colts. Team statement coming on Friday".

This tweet came as a response to the reports earlier in the evening that Peyton's doctor had medically cleared him to play again.  Manning doesn't necessarily have his throwing strength back.  It only means that he's recovered from his surgery and is allowed to take part in full practices.

This news came around 2-4PM yesterday.  Of course we all assumed that Peyton ran to the Colts training facility (where no Colts are allowed while the Patriots are practicing there this week) and demanded a physical.  So that's why Irsay had to tell us what we all knew...that Manning had not cleared the Colts doctors.  Please.

We all knew that.  We know they aren't dealing with this until after the Super Bowl leaves town.  At this point, it just seems as if it's those two kids who can't leave each other alone.  Irsay might as well have said "Oh Yeah??!!" before his tweet.  "Well, I'll show YOU!".

The Colts are expected to release a team statement on Friday related to Manning's medical clearance with the team.

On Monday, look for a "leaked" video of Manning throwing 70 yard bombs to Larry Fitzgerald.  And Manning looks to the camera and says..."Your move, Jim".

Boys will be boys.
